Moving in Faith

God forms the seen from the unseen by his creative word.

Hebrews 11:3 (NIV)

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Hebrews 11:3 (NLT)

By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

·      As we start a new meteorological season and month, what are you hoping for, or do you need faith for, this season?  It can be personal or for someone, somewhere, something.

·      What are the signs around you that might encourage you of potential growth or fruit in this area?  Are your senses being tingled by a fresh autumn wind, a new smell in the air, the sight of ripening autumn fruit?

·      What is your current faith level, is it the size of a mustard seed or perhaps a coconut, or something else?

Time to Move (read the instructions and then click on the link to the music to move to).

First start with a small posture to represent the shape or size of your seed of faith.  This can be with your whole body or just your hands.

Then ask the Holy Spirit to help you move in faith – the unseen becoming seen.

Height - It maybe that you’re drawn to grow upwards (stretching out maybe) toward the sun (Son).

Depth - It maybe that your drawn to become more rooted in the soil of God’s love and truth (maybe focussing on your feet or even moving down until you’re lying on the floor).

Softened - It maybe you’re drawn to be still and await the autumn rain of God’s blessing, softening your outer casing to enable shoots to breakthrough.

As you move, trust the unseen work of God within you and around you.  It is God who causes us to grow.  It is the deposit of his seed within us that holds the promise of lasting fruit in all our lives and he enlarges our capacity beyond whatever we can imagine.

Revelation 22:2

On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations.
